Welcome to the beautiful Oak Grove. Monthly festivals and The Everglades Bluegrass Festival held on the third weekend in Feburary take place here. 2008 will mark the event's 30th year anniversary.

Pat Hill was one of South Florida's most beloved and influential Bluegrassers. The legendary Dobro player was treasurer and responsible for most of the of the grant funding for the association during her latter years. Pat passed away in 2006 and we all miss her.

Mike Long makes fine guitars and has donated several of his hand made gems to South Florida Bluegrass through the years. This recent letter is a testament for his love of this great traditional music.    Mike Long Guitars
